Marrs Magnet Center serves students in grades 5 through 8. The only middle school in the OPS system to offer a dual language program, Marrs offers 90 minute blocks that provide students with the opportunity to have concentrated learning periods. In addition to the standard curriculum Marrs Magnet Center curriculum is customized to focus on the subjects of Information Technology, Mathematics and Economics. 

"We are extremely fortunate to have an after school program for our students to attend. The students are exposed to many opportunities that are not only fun but educational as well. The program has given the students a safe venue to nurture current relationships and to make new friends with common interests. The best part is that the program does not end when school is over.  There is a summer component that incorporates camp-like activities while supporting the academics offered in summer school.  We are grateful for this extension of the school day which keeps students safe and off the streets while enhancing educational opportunities."
