Monroe Middle School is a neighborhood school that serves a diverse population of 7th and 8th graders. Some of the unique programs for students that Monroe offers are Read Right, ESL, special education classes and programs and classes for gifted and talented students. Among other amenities, Monroe has a newly renovated facility that houses a media center, four computer labs, and a swimming pool. The partnering organization for the Monroe MSLC is the Urban League of Nebraska.
